2 Tom Potter (Matrix Dynamite Trentmen) 4-13-0 (peg 24)
3 Harry Stephenson 3-10-0 (peg 15)
4 Ben Sharratt (Shakespeare Superteam) 3-1-0 (peg 35)
Drennan Leicester's Harry Wilkinson was crowned 2014 Matrix Intermediate champion, after putting in a top class display of flat float fishing from peg 20 on the Town Water. Harry caught eels and perch on the pole and worms, fished at 14.5m for a total weight of 9-0-0.
Last years champion, Matrix Dynamite Trentmen rod Tom Potter finished runner up from peg 24 on the Corporation Meadow. Tom also caught eels and perch on flatfloat tactics, as did third place Harry Stephenson.

Nice to see intermediate matches on a river or natural venue.Most youngsters will end up on puddles and that will affect the national team long term.
