Perhaps we might have to re-think this match this year as it looks as if most are tied up already this season. Could we set a date for next year and perhaps make it bigger and better . Tk how did you enjoy barston as a change or even packington just a thought as we only have 10 down . I know it was late notice for everyone but the likes of the site regulars make the day .With forward planning i'm sure we could get everyone interested .

As TK agred for me to try and sort it out this year I think we can put it off for one year and, as you say, plan well ahead for next year and make it bigger and better. Therefore.......................................

Mr V , worth getting date tied down nice & early , invite anglers to express a wish to fish the match and the venue can follow depending upon number of pegs required etc

Just a thought gals an guys (and Joff!).

How about having a set day each year so everyone knows when it is. As a suggestion the last Sunday or Saturday in May or the first Saturday/ or Sunday in June. It needn't be any of those dates they are just examples.
As for the venue, I don't think anyone minds where it is, - that is the least important bit; best to have no silly priced peg fees though, keep it cheap, keep it simple, keep it fun.
