Just got the results from Chris. Has TK been on a road trip down south and brought  Image Image  with him. Image Image
Either it fished very badly or did missing Al, Mugger and myself leave them with no one to show them how to do it properly.   :D Image Image

I understand from Tony that he didnt have a bite for the first 4 hours and I cant remember the last occasion that we had 2 DNWs.

Lads,
This one was always going to be a GRUELLER Image after months of sub zero conditions one sunny day was never going to be enough to get them on the munch.
Looking forward to seeing the results and finding out which section Dave won. ;)

My that was hard

I walked the lake as i was asked to assist with the pegging out, being a local, put only the good pegs into the draw but then realised that we were one short for the predicted 13 souls fishing

just put 152 in as well i said, trying to avoid any peg in the redoubtable "corner of death"

well, you just know what bloody peg stuck to my drawing hand on dipping into the bag

had a fine old day though in the company of some fine old fellas

gave up on the carp after 4 hours and went after the roach, im glad i did in the end, got me a section win

thanks for the invite again, and Rosie and myself would like to accept the invite for the 20th (?) at nicks lake

be aware, shes compiling a list of names this year lol

First match as a new member over, learning curve started,

1. Always weigh in. Cost me points and points make prizes.

2. Dont lean on your cupping kit when stopping your self from falling in, it will snap, better to fall in and fish wet!!!!!

3. Try not to trap your self on you box by putting kit on it you have no idea how it works anyway!!!!!. Would have stopped point number two from happening!!.

4. Really pleased how friendly everyone was to a new member, especially my fishing partners this time Keith and John who tried to guide me along.

Roll on Nick's.

Very hard day, lovely to have that refreshing wind in my face all day >:(....but it did just drop enough to get out to where the fish were so cant complain to much. Although when Gino had two to my nil at half way I was fearing a horrid journey home Image
