definitely right TK, I fished that match and like a saddo I got me cuttings out to check. The oxford fished really poor that day, 77 teams of 12 and only 6lb won the individual. He had a 3lb carp in that and was on an end peg.
Interestingly enough a swadlincote angler next to me came second in the whole section with a big two pound by fishing waggler and squatt, which was a method that i used to use a lot on the canal around leighton buzzard at the time, I could`ve kicked myself for not going down that route on the day, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. When I looked at the AT section print out from that day(told you i was sad) I noticed this week that the angler next to me was an R Reynolds. Is that a coincidence or was it in fact the great CWH?

Sorry been a bit busy lately !!!!
I remember it well Steve Image Think it was 2lb 14 oz on the canal with me old 12ft carbon rod off Kingfisher and a 506. I think that was the year I started back fishing after a few years off (being a **ob). Well it is such a small world !!!!
I look forward to seeing You at Evesham this year if the rumour is true Image
Changing subject slightly do You know the date / details of the memorial 2 dayer on the Yare Mate ?

Hi Choppie

yer what a small world, fancy being drawn next to you all those years ago, i`d never had known unless i`d looked back at the results page this week!

Re Evesham, haven`t heard any rumours so if you know anything please send me a pm.

The yare two dayer i think is the first weekend in August (3rd & 4th). You might also want to think about the Broads festival in October, I`ve fished it the last two years and its been brilliant. I think there will be a lot of anglers on it this year.
