here's my team who haven't fished for England but I'd put them up against the current team1 swino capt
2 chrisV
3 Darren bickerton
4 mark pollard
5 Gary miller
why because they are all capable of sorting waters out quickly and would soon have a plan and would stick to it man for man
and there plan Z would be better than mostand this would be across the board canals rivers lakes

Good topic this one. Being brought up fishing the Birmingham canals I always looked upto Ian Moulton and Andy Billington, as well as Norm carpenter, Si Nickless and Kian Wardle as the top canal anglers. On the circuit I fish now I rate Mark Pollard and Gary Miller as the best around.
A world champs angler needs to be a top all rounder equally skilled on rivers and small fish. I would go for Polly, Darran Bickerton, Gary M, Darren Davies, Lee Kerry and Simon Willsmore.
