You cannot fish there anymore due to the developments which will have the fishing rights. Well so I have been told.

Talking of peg nos - we fished a club match about 10 years ago there.

We'd got pegs 100 - 125

When pegging out, we ummed and arred about putting peg 100 in........... the stickups both side of the peg went out about 10 years............ thought we'd possibly get loads of grief from the club member who drew it Image..................so we left it out

The next day (Sun) there was a match on there too............

And guess what............ Image

The peg we left out coughed up a 100lb winning weight Image

Going back a few years in the mid 90's I used to travel from the South, meeting 'The Apprentice D.D.' in West London early pm and off we went to do the Monday evening series at Twyford..Was a great series and always remember that peg 100 was a flier .Never drew it but as you say it did win matches with barbel.
Mad we were and after match go to pub ,Golden Cross if I recall, with lads and eventually get home early hours.
The 'Mrs' never did appreciate this and eventually divorced me..likely to much fishing..Strange woman..Hey Ho.
