Hartley Lands Farm - Nick's Lake 17/06/2017

Just 9 fished on a very hot day today. A pretty steady set of weights all round with the exception of Dave who unfortunately was not feeling too good in the heat and had to put back early and make his way home. Hope you're feeling better mate.
Well done to todays winner Simon with 171lb off end peg 1.
Spare a thought for John H who put 119lb on the scales in around 3 hours before he had to pack up for a prioir engagement. At that rate he would have well and truly battered us all.
Result (our peg nos):
1. Simon Peg 1 171-00lb
2. Keith Peg 7 157-00lb
3. Mick Peg 8 135-08lb
4. Tony Peg 6 123-00lb
5. John Peg 10 119-00lb
6. Clive Peg 9 112-00lb
7. Terry Peg 5 87-08lb
8. Rod Peg 4 33-08lb
9. Dave Peg 2 DNW
Peg 1 was on the road bank and peg 10 at the far end of the right hand bank.

Hope you're feeling better Mr C, unfortunately drew the worst peg on the right hand bank but hey ho that's fishing, well-done to all that managed a decent weight especially winner Si.

Still a bit too warm for me. Going to docs tomorrow to check blood pressure. Sorry to run out on you all,but at least Simon got a temporary promotion to chief whistle blower. He also ended up with not only an end peg but 2empty pegs the other side, Some people get all the luck. :facepalm :facepalm

Thought it best to pack up while John was around to help. Thanks John. :thumsup

Simon and Keith please make sure you remind me I owe you pools money.

...and may that luck continue but not at the expense of you having to leave early again Mr C!....I'm sure myself and Keith will have no difficulty reminding you at Colemans ;D

Yours is £8. So you can have a free day. Keith gets a free day AND £2. :cheerleader :cheerleader :cheerleader

That should cover him for two matches against Mick. :facepalm
