Runners needed for the Top Tipsters Aintree meeting at Aintree this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Seven races each day. Same rules as at Cheltenham with one addition.

Up to 15 runners, 3 pts for a win, 2 for 2nd and 3 for 3rd.
16 runners or more, 4, 3, 2, 1.
Grand National incentive 5,4,3,2,1.

One nap per day for double points which gives a last day incentive of a possible 10 points if you nap the National winner.

Us Midlanders need to start sharpening our pins. Rumour has it that Big Cup has enlisted Mystic Meg.

The stewards can be very harsh at Aintree. Two tankers of Guinness have already been delivered to the Stewards Room and someone has reported Mystic Meg, accompanied by Big Cup already knocking on the Stewards door. In fairness the Stewards are to be changed and their names kept secret until Thursday. :rofl :rofl

You might have to have a double check on the points system Bill, or is it different for us midlanders to give us a chance ?

Always a good day at Stratford Dodge, especially with a couple of winners.

I haven't copied the first 4 either, I have them written down and I have just seen yours. Judging by my 2/27 at Cheltenham you might be well changing yours !

Lovely racecourse Daylewlia , good crowd there too  :thumsup :thumsup last thing I remember was having a meal in an Indian restaurant down a nice side street by the river in the town center then waking up miles away in a hotel in Alcester the next morning with a terrible hangover !  :shifty  :D

The very mention of tax sent the Yorkshire dippers fleeing to al corners of Yorkshire. Their excuse was that they only need two days to beat us Midlunders!!!
Anyway the show went on with Tony F becoming the man to fear at Aintree by bagging his nap in his 12 points total. Bill Yards found a straight pin for a change and was second with 9 points and the other Bill, Barrow Bill was third with 7 points. Dodge and Daylewlia found themselves both stranded on platform 3 of Stratford Rail Station and ended the day on two points each.

Shocking - currently running at 2/34.

If I was at Stratford train station Bill then I would catch a train to the furthest point away from any racecourse.

Big cup - you might as well pick for tomorrow and Saturday because there's a good chance that you'll score more points than me.

Maybe Ruby is a secret bookie Dodge, Artic and Annie falling at the last, both favourites ???
