I'll verify later in the week whether we'll do the draw once again on the Washlands Club Car Park, then drive down in an orderly manner to our pegs  :thumsup

Can't see a problem Col, just gorra 'firm up' the casualties first.....mind, easier said than done when some members just don't bother to let the club know they've got no intention of turning up....

Turn it round next season and make members book in at latest one week before the match date. If they don't book in and turn up on day they don't fish.....simples :thumsup

Echo some of your sentiments Mr V, but its easier to receive half a dozen texts/calls/PMS off members advising that they can't make a match, rather than 20 odd from members advising they will be there.

Why should those that hardly miss a match incur the expense of 15 tel calls just because a few members are just pig ignorant and can't be arsed....and they call themselves 'club members', club members my wobbly cheeks.. :fistycuffs

Draw on car park at Washlands Club as per last year :thumsup

Tricast - any chance you can 'check the pegs out' before the draw?

Suggested by Coors that we leave out 10 - 12 (opposite the canoe club)

Also suggested by T VD that we peg below the weir....

Also suggested by Yamo that we leave out the 4 pegs where pleasure anglers sometimes fish on the opposite bank.....

As much as I like the river up there tone it's just too much hasle. Racing boats canoes, people fishing opposite ya . I had a woman last year throwing a stick for her dog to fetch from 11am to surprise, surprise 3pm.
As soon as the whistle went so did she. A little more thought has goto go into booking better venues, people are waiting 2-3 weeks to fish a match only for their day to be ruined,no wonder nobody wants to go :rage
Iron bridge on the seventh a suggestion plus many more we're you don't get bothered ::)
