GT Bathrooms grueller series Match 5

Well this is probably the shortest report ever from me, due to us having the grueller of all gruellers today :'( :'(
14 turned up at Doggers Bridge on the extension, and I think everyone was optimistic with the mild, calm weather. Even TK got out from under the duvet, so you can tell how tropical it was :P :P Mike and Paul pegged out for us...Thanks Lads :thumsup :thumsup Only casualties today were OBI and Bullah, both of who cannot shake off girlie flu :cheerleader Bullah did wander down for an hour but then got a call from her indoors saying she had got some thick cut bacon in the pan for him.....never seen him move so fast :rofl :rofl :rofl
Pegs drawn, off we all trot. I had short walk peg 1 about 50 yards from the draw. I cannot seem to get away from the first 4 pegs on this stretch :facepalm :facepalm
I would like to enlighten you with a real tale of bagging, but it was not to be. Here is the tale of the scales, minus the DNW's of which there were 10 :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

1st.Peg 10. TK with 0-4-13
2nd. Peg 1. MrV with 0-4-4
3rd. Peg 4. Heinzer with 0-1-9
4th.Peg 13. Yamo with 0-0-11

As far as I am aware, Cotti had a Pike on the caster, Tricast missed 1 bite, and no one else had a bite :rage :rage . That little Perch of Yamo's could prove very valuable at the end of the series. Although it was a proper grueller, I must say how pleasing it was to see everyone still laughing and joking at the end. Well done lads :tiphat :tiphat

My "no bite in 4 hours " session was an exercise in ingenuity , tried all the known and some unknown methods to try to buy a bite but to no avail .

Yamo had 4 bites , which I think is a bit unfair but then again , who said life was fair ?

Looking forward to the next one and well done to TK and the framers .
