GT Bathrooms grueller series Match 1

14 hardy soles (including TOG Kulik) turned up for the first round of the newly sponsored GT Bathrooms series. Trev B has kindly donated a trophy in memory of his brother for the winner. Thanks Trev :tiphat 1st round was at Grove Bridge on the extension. Bright, sunny conditions, with a biting cold wind was the order of the day, and a few pegs with a smattering of leaves to contend with.
Pegged out 20 pegs, so decided to use every other peg up to 13, and the lucky high numbers were all in "Breamy Bay" :D :D
Needless to say, all the drawbags finished in the bay, including Debbie, sorry Carlos, who was making his return to the fold and drawing end peg 20 :rofl :rofl

Tale of the Scales:
Peg Angler Weight
1 Snowy DNW
3 MrV 1 - 7 - 8
5 D.Wassell 0 - 9 - 4
7 TK (TOG) 0 - 7 - 8
9 OBI 1 - 14 - 8
11 Roberto 0 - 3 - 7
13 Cotti 1 - 5 - 15
14 Mike E 2 - 9 - 0
15 Yamo 1 - 1- 3
16 P.Wassell 0 - 10 - 6
17 Zorro 1 - 7 - 9
18 Trev B 0 - 8 - 12
19 Heinzer 1 - 5 - 4
20 Carlos 1 - 10 - 7

So Mike the Perch continues his amazing run of form, which is great to see. :thumsup TK actually guessed his weight within drams, which is the first time I can remember in 20 years ;)
Great banter as usual lads :tiphat :tiphat

Thank you all for the support you always give me ,any way just a few lines on my win . After drawing peg 14 I was in the few pegs with leaves, after trying to fish the punch I was not able to find a place to settle my line ,so on went the choppy rig which had a olivette of .5 to push through the leaves to the centre track were I picked up 4 small perch and 1 roach before stricking into a perch of about 2lb,then sat for a hour and half to the whistle without a bite and as they say the rest his history. :thumsup :thumsup I felt sorry for Cotti as the leaves he had you could of walked across this is the luck of the drawand wind :facepalm :facepalm
