Oxford winter league round 3

The 3rd round of the Angling Trust Oxford winter league was fished by 6 teams of 8 on a very clear Thames at medley, Folly and Sandford with very little flow, Despite to clear water the roach fed everywhere with 7 sections won with double figures, Pike were a major problem on most sections. Some of the sections were switched from Donnington to Medley and Folly due to a rowing regatta and it was the Medley sections that dominated the individual frame.
1st John Taylor – Sensas A4 – 31lb 8oz. John drew the peg everyone wanted, bottom end peg on Medley and had all roach on 13m pole and caster over hemp and caster feed.
2nd Steve Harwood – Drennan Oxford – 23lb 1oz. Steve drew 1st peg above the perch pub on Medley and had 2 chub to 3 pound and the rest roach on 13m pole and maggot over groundbait feed.
3rd Stuart Keable – Sensas A4 – 18lb 9oz. Stuart drew 2 below the perch pub on Medley and had all roach on pole fished caster over caster feed
4th Alan Brown – ISIS - 17lb 5oz
5th Carl Eland – Drennan Oxford - 17lb
