Sensas Black Country cornerstone round 1 results

Sorry for the late post guys and girls

The first round of the Sensas Black Country Cornerstone teams of four failed to live up to expectations with the entire length of the canal being pumped almost half empty only 24hrs prior to the match due to being used to control a large scrapyard fire a mile or so down the canal.

At one stage there were over 20 appliances pumping water out of the canal. Then with it being topped with cold reservoir water and the boat traffic being diverted it really didn't bode well for a catching match with the fish shoaling. tightly in a handful of peg.

However there was a match to be won and well done to the winning team: end pegs who put in consistent display.

Here are the results.....

Teams on the day:

1st End pegs 17pts
=2nd Bewdley mallards 20pts
P.i blackhorse 20pts
Browning central 20pts

8th browning west mid 26pts
9th Measham AC 28pts
10th browning lifestyle 30pts
11th sensas black Country "B" 35pts

3rd ken Robertson (bwm) 3-2-0 peg 48
