Think we need some gudgeon in there Snowie........ summat to go at if the silvers dont play ball. Image Image Image

Another strange weekend Snowie - same as our match on the Shroppie on Sat. We know its stuffed with fish, but the roach and perch just didnt seem to show along the length.........

Apart from the chub that showed for a couple of anglers, plus some jammy old geezer who snared one of his usual 2lb snotties, Image if it hadnt been for the gonks, most of us wouldnt have weighed in 2oz. :o

I had 79 fish - no perch - all gonks except for about 5 micro roach that wouldnt have gone 1oz between 'em. Just dont know why the roach dont seem to want to have a peck at the mo on some waters........... Image Image Image

Shudda done Si, I found a large stone leger weight with line and hook attached to one of my flower boxes the other day! Do some of 'em not realize how expensive boat windows are!
Thanks for the award, can't believe it's been 5 years!

The Midland Chapter of the Lure Anglers' Society will be on the towpath this Saturday (22nd) and on Wednesday 5th March

Be interesting to see if they have as much 'sport' as we do on our matches...........on Saturdays match Mike E netted an Essox Lucius about 6lb on the chop, whilst Trevor B had one attacking his keepnet Image
