I've received an invite - and subsequently entered us a team - into the Corks Club Challenge Match

This is a team of 4 match and we will be fishing against 4 other clubs this year

The date - Sat 12th Sept 2015
Venue - Bluebell Pool Astwood Fishery Droitwich
Draw 8.30am Fish 10am to 3pm

Strictly only club members of the participating teams are allowed (to stop any ringers)

The match will be run to NFA and venue rules

If you wish to represent Cashmores in this inaugural event (next years is already being planned) pls let me know (asap - ta) :thumsup

As per the West Riding of Yorkshire concise dictionary Phil:

Picking up on Mr Vs anti " puddle pigging " approach - he would be amused by the following post which I spotted on Maggotdrowning site yesterday :

Sounds good. Ive had possibly the most boring days fishing ever. Had a club match at Tunnel barn and Ive won the match and set a new club record with 242lb 9oz of f1s all on top 2 down the edge, I was sat there thinking to myself i would honestly rather be at stowe catching next to nothing

Tervor B...regarding Mr Vs anti " puddle pigging "

Moi...anti puddle pigging??
Nay, nay, thrice I say nay...I am not "anti puddle pigging" ...each to his own. But I personally prefer fishing natural venues with wild fish that require a bit of guile and craft to catch. Never was one for "an easy life :rofl :rofl

Must admit, I chuckled when I saw Top Baggers write up of his win yesterday :facepalm :facepalm
