I used to fish Burton area years ago in angling times league and the bread punch was always a get out line especially in the rat holes when the boats got going. I've always found it a must have on this canal.

Good question and I'm sure there will be many answers. I always like to use a wire bristle to see sensitive bites. Although sometimes we look into this a bit too much because my main belief is that it's not the float that catches the fish but more the way you feed. On the local circuit around my way...
