Re: Southend Farm, Damsel Lake; 3rd Oct 2020
Thoroughly enjoyed the match. Surprised there were no carp in that little bay but hey ho. Went for skimmers and caught them. Well done to Mick and Vic, God that hurts saying that :facepalm . Perhaps we should have a silver's only match next year, we are not getting younger and lifting those big nets...

You should have got the trolley with a battery. Lot easier to push.

Re: Puddledock Farm - Road Lake 15/08/20
Another hard day. Fishing seems to be like this everywhere at the moment. A lot of fisheries have changed since lock-down and the resumption of angling. Well done to all who framed and the section winners. Personally I had a good laugh with Josh and although the fishing wasn't the best I enjoyed the...

Pete,
I blame the maggots. I used some of the ones you gave me on Saturday, today and I am sure they are defective . Had a couple of carp eventually, but struggled to catch perch.
Pellet by far the better bait.

Re: Alders Farm - Ash Lake 04/07/2020
Getting back into the club matches after a long lay off, when quite rightly no fishing was allowed. This would be my second match back and still feeling my way back in. A section win and second place overall on the last match at Puddledock Snake Lake settled the nerves and this match is on my local ...

Good close match today. A couple of fish either way could have swung things around.

Re: Booking in Puddledock Snake Saturday 20th June
Dave First off thank you for all your efforts in getting the Marsh season underway. I have started venturing out, socially distancing at present and going to venues where there is plenty of space. I will be up for Puddledock as I believe it is possible along the snake lake. Can we have agreed pegs t...

Re: Electric trolleys
I had mine done by Neil Dudsbury in Derby. A two wheel Preston barrow with electric motor. He can be found on Facebook. I think cost was around 300 but that was everything supplied and a few years ago. I just needed to collect it.

Re: Monk Lake 1 30th May 2020
Hi Dave On a personal note I will still be isolating until June 1st so would miss out on the Monks match anyway. At present the Government guidelines are NO matches, as this could be construed as a social gathering. As stated above this could change at any moment. This is said to be being reviewed i...

Re: Just checking in
Hi All Hope you are all well, safe and thinking of others. I feel your pain Dave, only been out to supermarket shop once every 10 days and to local chemist every month to collect tablets. Remainder of time spent at home behind closed doors. Just had to cancel my annual Viaduct trip, fishing was not ...

Re: Arrans lake Sat 4th April 2020. MATCH CANCELLED
Seen a few random posts on FB and hoping they are all well. Not sure if they are classed as key workers, as not 100% certain what they do for a living.
Josh, i think works in IT
Kyle plays drum in a band
Foxy, not sure
Chris I believe is a driver so may be working.
I am probably wrong on all counts.

Re: Arrans lake Sat 4th April 2020. MATCH CANCELLED
Hi All Following the advice and guidance regarding Covid-19 I will not be fishing in the near future, be it pleasure or matches. A few inconsiderate people have spoilt things for the rest of us. I have left the house just twice since the 3rd March, both times to get food shopping. No fishing, I have...
