Hi Dave - just got back from Czecho so only just seen this. Some thoughts: Agree about your definites. 2 visits to Colemans would certainly appeal - especially if we try 2 diff lakes - Pathfield as usual, and the other larger match lake we first fished (is it Woods?). Would get a good attendance fro...

Hawkhurst Fish Farm 11th October

Right as to weight? mmm I think it will be 'fairly hard' but not 'rock hard' - but better than last time (MDs match) when 35ish lb was good enough. So top weights 60-70lb down to say 15-20lb, average 25-30lb x 20 = 550lb or x16 = 440lb. http://simplematchfishing.co.uk/forum2/images/converted_files/y...

Yep I'll be there Dave + brekkie. I'm pretty sure Jim will be there for this one, but he usually doesn't have a brekkie - I'll get him to confirm.

Churchgate Lakes 19th July.

Al - its more a 'silvers lake with carp' than the more common 'carp lake with silvers'. We are told there is a good head of bream which run to 9-10lb. Dave & I pleasure fished it early season last year and caught skimmers, ide, tench, roach and the odd better bream(to 5lb), plus every now and th...

Very wise Peter - Sunday looked like a really bad day for it - probably even worse than Easter Monday at Framfield. Image

MONK Match Lake 2 5th April 2008

Nice one Dave - doin' the write up at gone midnight - thats dedication for you. And as always nice one Peter as well. By the way Peter did you survive Sunday? Back to the match - like Peter said the tow was wicked - worst I've known it at Monk. In my peg it was happily pulling thru a 1.5g float with...
