Re: Coventry Canal Winter League

Hi Rob, you can fish this as an individual as well but if you contact somebody I'm sure a team may be looking for an angler as well.

Re: Warwickshire Winter League Round 5 results

They might be tiny and really not what you want to catch but it did make the sections very tight and decisions were crucial as and when to try for a bonus or sit on the skerrits. I needed one of them bonus fish in my section.

Tough match with that sudden drop in temperature. Well done James and Dams & Lock on winning on the day.

Re: Warwickshire Winter League Round 2 result

Think it could be a good venue if every other peg in to give more space.those with more space caught apart from 3 pegs where there seems to be a big shoal. It was very Peggy on the day just needed a boat earlier

Some decent weights but tough for some.My section was rocko apart from peg 1 and the boat in the last hour helped as the fish finally turned up for some

Re: New Pole Purchase

I've got a sensas 774 and the good thing about the sensas is all 4 series poles fit mine so I should never struggle for replacements. Spares are not too expensive apart from the number 6 section I broke.Grrrrre

Ashes 2015

Aussies are always strong at Lords, their bowlers always manage to use the slope better than ours. Though I think every English player and supporter will be hoping for the rain dance. If it doesn't come then the Aussies will be level.

Dams and Lock Summer League

It's being re-stocked in Aug/Sept Darren will know more. I always find the high numbers are more consistent and a better stamp of Roach.Tet low numbers around cables will throw up the big bream weights.😀

Would love it to be on a natural venue but suppose we have to be grateful this team event is still running with team fishing i...

I've managed to get on 3 riverfest Qualifiers and really looking forward to the one on the Nene. Its a nice river and I think there could be some good weights, it's just not fished like it used to be.Then there's a few matches on the Soar with a decent bunc...
