I well enjoyed Saturdays match and would be interested in follow up. Can you arranged for all of my match weights to be rounded up. I thought I had netted 2-6-0.
additionally if you intend running another if you announce the date now Bullah might make on the day.
See you at Hanchurch.

Mr Warburton

Has anyone heard from Cottie?.
He has been a no show all winter, missed most, if not all of the Gruellers. Both of the first two matches and the trophy presentation night. Most unlike him.

Match 21st March 2015

Due to the spacing of the pegs today at Wheaton Aston.
Most members will have missed Harry Mains attempt to steal a march on everyone by using his upturned brolly as a coracle.
There must be a rule preventing this. If not w must agenderise it at the next AGM.
One to watch is our Harry !!!

Grueller match 16. The big finale

Following on to the speculation with regard to KOd's bait, and being aware of his current sojourn in the Austrailan sub continent. Perhaps we should closely examine his bait pots. He may have smuggled back a large quantity of Witchetty grubs for bait. These wrigglers measure some 4.7 inches, and wou...

Curse match 1 2015 - Who wants a short walk......?

Despite the banter this has to be the best canal venue I have fished in 40 years as a member. Ease of access, relatively close to home for most members, and a café/bar on the canal side, served by very pleasant staff, Not least a very healthy head of fish, Not all in the basin. Big Col won with 18L...
