Tony is on the case Clive. I will be give him the dimensions of the weigh bucket tomorrow. we were also discussing if it’s worth getting another weigh bucket so we can speed up weigh ins using both sets of scales.

I have just received a phone call from Puddledock wanting to confirm if we still want to fish and I have said yes. They only deal in cash so I have confirmed we can do that safely. We provisionally have from peg 1 to peg 30 and fishing every other peg.

We have 3 weeks til the Monks match so it’s possible something can be agreed so we can fish it. How safe it might be for the members who are currently shielding and if they want to go I’m not sure.

Right as per your request This match has been rebooked for Saturday 17th October when hopefully we will be safe to go fishing again.

First 2 matches are now cancelled

Following Boris speech and the further restrictions brought in there is no way this match can carry on. It is therefore cancelled.
I also expect that the next match planned for Hartleylands will be off as well as I am sure these restrictions will go on for longer.

As things are changing on a daily basis Im not sure if the venue will be open or if we will be in lockdown in 2 weeks time. At the moment there are 5 of us who feel its unsafe to leave the house though several others appear to want to fish. I suggest everyone lets me know if they want to fish or not...
