I used to like the wednesday opens in the summer. twyford farm in the day time then an evening match at harvington. Everyone then went to the norton grange pub for beers. Happy days

Intresting artical. On the subject of riddling your breadpunch feed i do it slighly diferently. I freeze the liquidised bread until its solid. Then i liquidise the frozen feed and it comes out mega fine like milk powder. Bang on!

No Guys not DAM AFS. It was in sweeden Karlstad june 1988 DFDS final. I went as a 21 year old bankrunner with DAM Starlets. My 2 friends and i went on the lash for 3 days much to Downsy dismay. Now u may reconise some more names. Barnsley won the the 4 team final.

i read his books when i was a kid. i still remember some of the stuff he wrote about. Zoomers floats or bodied waglers attched top and bottom???? they must have been fun to use in the day. They were fantasic books would love to read them again
