Hi guys, Does anyone know for sure if the butt section on the Shimano Technium 1300 Super Strong All Rounder (the new one, 2011) is parallel or not? I'm wondering if I could get away with taking it to 14.5m for Bream/Roach/Perch fishing? I'm not looking to tame margin Carp or anything heroic! Thanks,

I've bought 5,6 and 8 gram floats and the stretch is around 12ft I've been told (I've not actually visited it yet!). Another water I intend to use them on is around 15ft with a strong current.

I brought some last week. They are really good (admittedly that is based only on 2 rainy sessions).. It was the breathability that lead me to buy them over prestons df 20 or similar.

I've bought myself a selection of Crulusso flat floats to try on the Warwickshire Avon. I'm struggling to find anything online which relates to float selection? I would like to know a guide to which size to use in relation to flow and depth?  Any help would be appreciated :)

Thanks mate. I'll give Hodnet and Staffs IW a look. I'm a member of Kinver Freeliners, and the club only rent the stretches out. The club don't run any matches at all in fact unfortunately.

The water I've been using leam in my grounbait is actually a reservoir with a strong current when they are pumping. It is quite like fishing a river at times !!
