All our yesterdays...............carefully does it

TK was it the recent police national on the cam? Looks like a peg in between baitsbite lock and clayhithe. The fish he`s playing is probably a pike as there`s thousands in there.

WHO eat all the pies

Mooner once told me about something that happened to him on the canal during a match. He had been fishing for lumps accross and one (carp/chub/perch?) had snagged him and somehow his black hydro was stuck fast and whatever he tried he couldn`t get it free. There was now a couple of barges coming rou...

WHO eat all the pies

Met one of Mooner`s best mates on a match the other week and I enquired of his whereabouts.
" Keith`s packed up fishing, he met a bird in the pub on the way home from work and is now getting married (again). All within two weeks of meeting her" came the reply.

Pedro,

only reason I knew was that I drew on that straight in the national 3 or 4 years ago. Had a good days roaching on the long rod and big stick for about 12lb and fifth in section. We were allowed to park behind our pegs that day as well.

looks like the bend on the cam in between Pike & Eels section and gypsy lane. The white house is near to the pub on the far bank. Can`t remember the pub`s name, good chub peg to one side.

arseloan was his mate who came out practising with us, i think his name was Rob. When we practised we used to write down the results for reference. We came to weigh him in and the scalesman asked for his name, R Sloan came the reply. So he ended up being the butt of all the jokes that week, such as ...

Yes Bill remember them well, one of the squatt whiz kids Simon Parsley used to use a Fly Ticino, original squatt float superseded by Richard Lattimers cult squatt float. Still use em today.
