Div 1 River Trent National 2010 - Result

cheers Dodge thanks for the congrats. Great day for our team, we would have taken top ten before the match, but to get so close to winning it took the shine off it for me personally. Great performances from our young guns Simon Colclough, Rob Wright (baboons wobbly cheeks) and Danny Grimsey all ...

Weekends getting closer !!!

CWH, Yare matches last until late september early october. Should be more roach dominated from now on, although I`m no venue expert as I only go there a few times a year due to other commitments. This season i`m trying to spend more time there as it`s a great place to fish. I`ve been there four ...

the pattern he used for his latest adventure was the `forsythe`. It`s best for when there`s not much showing on top.

All our yesterdays........but can you name em all?

Ken Smith is the missing one, he had a leger rod named after him, I think made by Rodrill. I had one, about 9 1/2 foot long quite a good rod in those days (70`s).

Who's fished this peg....................?

Sorry TK, didn`t realise you wanted a reply----- Anyway obviously I`ve drawn the peg as the pic is of me playing a fish (barbel). Luckily I drew it on the div 1 national in 2004 and after fishing a national every year since 1983 I finally had a chance to fulfil mine and many other anglers ambition ...

could be Chris V, can`t tell with that hat on as you can`t see the Brucie Forsythe syrup. That would be the give away. Apparently he`s had to get Laura to modify the barnet because of the comments he`s been getting from other anglers such as "good gayme, good gayme" and "come on dollies do your ...

All our yesterdays........a Sensas visor this time

It`s frank swan, one of my old milton keynes ac buddies from nigh on 20 years ago. Sadly frank died in the early nineties, lovely bloke who enjoyed a laugh, I can still hear him shouting "down the middle".

All our yesterdays.......more up to date

That lost fish cost Harry £25K. It was the Parkdean/Skol final about 6 or 7 years ago. Harry came second to Darren Cox that day, he was pegged about 3 or 4 on jennys and he played that carp for a long long time on white hydro, he knocked it off at the net, I bet he wished that pull bungs were ...
