Hi Richard, yer the trent festival was cancelled on day two, we fished day one, I won my section with 14lb and was fourth on weight. Looking forward to day two but it was not to be. Shame really because it was interesting fishing, but with the amount of rain we had it would have been quite dangerous...

CWH you might be interested in the broads festival on the thurne and bure plus the broads champs. The festival is a two dayer on 3rd and 4th october (weds & thurs) with the broads champs on the 6th (sat). Good fishing in a lovely part of the world. That`ll help you get evesham out of your system...

Hi Richard, I drew 141 on saturday, thought I`d be on a few fish but it was quite poor around that area. Both end pegs 136 and 144 caught skimmers 31lb & 28lb rest of us struggled. I had 2 skimmers and two bootlaces for about 2lb in the first hour then fished the pole for the remainder to finish...

My guess is that the venue is the Thames at Oxford, probably Radley or Carrots Ham. The angler is mostly wearing Paul Glenfield`s cast-offs as he is the only southern angler who wears northern gear.
