You may be right......I dont think we won it, I think we would have been second if the results had stood. I remember it involved old George Conway and Les Allen nearly coming to blows http://simplematchfishing.co.uk/forum2/images/converted_files/yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/thinking.gif Did the...

There was no hiding place on the MESSC matches TK. ::) I alweays used to drop on for Peter Plummet or you from MEB and Phil Nield from Ironbridge. Good crack them days though. How I drove home from some of them I will never know (usually one eye closed so I could only see one set of white lines) :-[

Big roach all through the whole length now. Since Rugeley and Brereton folded about 6 years ago, it has hardly been fished. Had a few roach over the pound mark last summer. Pear Tree pub own the Church length now, but hardly anybody fishes it.  :o

Taking my daughter on the T & M canal at Rugeley on Sunday (14th). Anyone fancy a few hours. Being so mild it should fish ok with "normal baits", squatt, caster etc. Loads of Roach, perch, gudgeon etc.The stretch never gets fished these days so if you are up for a few hours, let me kno...

T K GRUELLER MATCH 4

Spot on Yamo. Its a different animal when there is a match on it during the previous few days, although this only happens Xmas time. Some of them would have used worm and joker too, which would have made it even harder on some pegs yesterday. Hence the total bait I used yesterday would add up to the...

In answer to your questions Ratbag: 1 = About 15, same as gruellers 2 = Same as gruellers, usually leave out tins unless more than 15 3 = 5 hours 4 = 0930 - 1430 They are always on Sundays. Always odd one or two who will sit it out for carp, but very rarely get them. Club standard anglers, with odd ...

TK GRUELLER SERIES MATCH 3

Nice report and piccies. Well done KOD and bad luck Simon. It was a funny match for me on 14. Fished one handed for 3 hours as the sun was bang in my eyes. One hand on the pole, one hand shielding the reflection of the sun off the water, and peak of cap shielding sun direct. 8-) Started off having 1...
