lol Couple of reason i tie eyed as spades are. Hard fighting Carp and spades and the way i play them = Either spade cutting line or knot slips over spade. When i used to use punch i always carried various bags of Licy (separately) which had gone through every size sieve from Groundbait down to Flour Sieve's.
Depending on venue - conditions - fish size and other factors as to which i would use on the day or at a certain time.
