Re: Arrans lake Sat 4th April 2020
Hi Dave On a personal note I am happy to fish if the fishery is open. I am sure social distancing can be sorted giving everyone a decent area to fish in. Peg fees and Pools should not be an issue. However I am not going to attend if there are only a handful of anglers. Rosie's cafe should be closed....

Are you ready?
Well not long now to the first match of the new Marsh AC season. Are you ready? I have been out a few times throughout our "cold season", taking part more than setting the world alight. I have seen Josh has been honing his skills, but not a lot of others out and about. Must be saving it up...

Re: Reel Line
Tony, Nice to see nothing gets past you. It was something I gave a little thought to, I was fed up with stated lines saying they sank and others float, rarely did they do what they said on the tin. Currently I have been using Daiwa Tournament ST line but have had it on for a few years. No real probl...

Re: Club fees 2020
Hi Tony Thanks again for the feedback, I think we have had this discussion before regarding interest. It is hard to keep any form of interest when there is very little communication from the membership. It is the same old people looking for change and coming up with ideas. Each year the dynamics of ...

Re: Club fees 2020
My personal opinion regarding pools money would be to raise the pools money to £5 and payout 1st and 2nd in section, thus spreading some money back to more. I have muted the idea of " superpools" before and there was very little take up on this subject, so as Tony has already stated perhap...

Re: Re: Club match bookings 2020
Tony
I have two night shifts to do, tonight and tomorrow and then nothing planned "W"wise.
Don't know what I will do with my spare time. Maybe the other "W" or fishing.

Re: Slough House, 19th October 2019
With the seasons changing from Summer to Autumn, it reminds me that the Marsh AC season slowly comes to an end. Our matches run from March through to October, it will not stop me from going out and pleasure fishing or fishing any opens I fancy though. Our last match of the season was a bit of an unk...

Is that the correct postcode for the fishery?.
The one above is RM14 3RR while on the website it states RM14 3RS.

Puddledock Road Lake 21st September 2019
I think everyone will agree that was harder than we expected. Winner on the day was Chris T with 65lb edging ahead of the Chairman who despite his ageing years still possesses the knowledge and guile to winkle out a few late fish.Mark was third with mainly tip caught fish. Ist Chris T 65-08 2nd Dave...
