just to let you know i ended up buying the preston gis14, its not quite as stiff as the gmax1000 but its quite abit lighter and a better finished pole. Also i know 3 people ho have had gmax1000's and they have all broken on the no4 section.so that made up my mined. fishing sat and sun so cant wait ...
