Thanks for the offer but I got away with a 2oz Nick Larkin feeder with just a couple of 5grm clip ons on it halfway across. Next weeks tide 1 1/2 oz should be enough with luck.

The tide and floodwater was too large, I understand that the 3 dayer on the tidal Trent was cancelled. Shame, I half fancied it myself but the Yare is fishing better so why go anywhere else?

The clever guys like Nick Larkin and Chris V fish the tip, snare a lump or two then top up with roach on the pole if it isn't happening. I tend to stick to the feeder and curse the luck of the draw
