Okay now then where do i start?
I first started fishing when i was four when i went on holiday to America and stayed at my aunties and uncles in Vermont. My uncle owned about three hundred acres of land and built his own house and dug his own trout lake/pond on his land. The land also had Streams running through it full of small trout. I mainly fished the pond with my dad for trout with lobworms(night crawlers as they call them in the states) also in the pond there was large and small mouthed Bass. My uncle also use to take us too some rather wild rivers where i caught my first pike,it wasn`t like an English pike more like a Zander it was a Wall eye Pike. Most of the fish that we caught got eaten

.
When we came home my dad bought me my first rod and reel,if i remember it was a starter kit from a catalogue.
He use to take me occasionally when work permitted, but it wasn`t until i was about 14 when i really got the bug. On his way to work my dad use to drop me off at a lake called the Eagle pond at 5 in the morning and pick me up on his way home at about 7 in the evening.
Also i joined a local club called Woodford Angling Society(former club of the late great Dennis Salmon) where i stayed until i was about 20. The last year i spent with the club i won 14 trophies and had won a couple of 70 peg inter club matches so i thought that i would go on the open circuit.
After about a year Dickie Carr took me under his wing and became my travelling partner (he was after cheap servicing on his car) the amount of Knowledge i got off Dickie was unbeleiveable. We also joined a shop team called Loughton angling centre(i tried to join Trevs Browning but they didn`t want me

). We fished Winter leagues and Super leagues but without much success. After a couple of years the shop closed but the team didn`t fold, another shop took us on Robinsons in Plaistow and we became known as Team Robbos.
After a few years with Robbo`s i got a call from Pete Clapperton asking me to join Essex he told me who had asked Kim Milson, Swinnoe, Derek Young, Pete Vasey etc he offered me money but said that i would be small fry

i turned him down that same day, next day i got a call off Dennis Salmon telling me why i should join but i still declined.
Three years later i managed to score 40 kamasan points on all sorts of venues, also that same year Pete Clapperton was after new members and i got the call again this time i was a bigger fish so i joined as did Darren Davis and Mark Sayer.
The Essex team grew in strength Polly,Andy Mead, Gary Miller, Tony Watling, Dean Barlow, John Whincup, Steve and Phil Ringer and of course Diddy joined. Just how much did i learn.
After about 12 GOOD years with Essex the wheels fell off with anglers leaving, give up fishing due to family commitments, some throwing their dummies out of their prams, Pete Clapperton and Swinnoe decided to call it a day due to a lack of anglers in the squad.
After a year off team fishing i joined Image VDE a team with some of my old heros in Tony Marti, Dean Field, Steve Last(mullarkey) etc.
Image also boast 3 Division one national winners and alot of other talent.
There is more but this has took me about an hour to type.
Sorry if theres any spelling mistakes etc.
